Seeking the software related to manage the downloading if connection lost.?

Network lost while downloading the file from the internet and asked to redownloading again from the begining, how to prevent it from redownloading from the begining, Is there any software avail to prevent such type of hindrance and resume from the portion or session of last bit of downloaded part.
