Why do Christians have higher divorce rates than Atheists?

Compare that to India or Islamic lands where hardly anyone gets a divorce and almost everyone is religious. I don't think it has anything to do with "faith" but culture. And no we are not forced into marriages. It is allowed in Shari'ah to divorce.
