Why does Australia have so many #$%# old people?

They are everywhere, always getting in the way and slowing things down, I see them in the shops, at the movies, at the racetrack, on the bus, crossing the road, feeding the pigeons, and they always use the same lame excuses like 'I'm old and I paid taxes all my life' or 'I was in the army or boy-scouts or whatever', or 'I've got a metal plate in my head' , like as if that entitles them to do whatever they want. Now I'm just as tolerant as the next person but shouldnt there be some kind of law against people over 75 going out in public, cant we just put them in a home and give them free cable TV so the rest of us can enjoy this great country without having to put up with such hindrances, if you can suggest a soultion you will make an old (younger than 75) man very happy.
