My baby is not interested in look at my face...?

Everyone says from the time of birth a baby can recognize the mothers voice, and will turn her head and look for the voice, and also that a newborn is supposed to be specifically interested in human faces. My baby girl is just a few days past 2 weeks old, and she simply wont look at my face. I have tried from several different distances, lighting, ive tried everything. She will look right past me and off into the open space, where things are too far away for her o even see just yet. I am concerned, could this be some sort of developmental hindrance?
