Modern technology...blessing or hindrance?

What does everyone think about websites like Facebook and E harmony and twitter? are these websites depriving people of actual contact with others? do people actually believe they can find true love over dating websites? personally, i beilieve that these websites are bad new. people spend too much time on the computer chaniging thier statuses or updating thier twitter or stalkign other people over facebook! what happened to getting out there and meeting people! i used to have a facebook but i deleted it and im much happier! what do y'all think??
