I'm moving to Qatar...?

I'm a 15 year old girl and will be moving there with my mom (because of her job) 2 months into my sophmore year of high school. I'll be going to American school. We live in the U.S., but are Persian. I don't know any Arabic, but will learn it at school. I'll live there for two years, then return to the U.S. permanently. I'll be in Qatar's capital city. I just want to know a bit about it. Don't write anything about woman's rights, since I bet you know nothing of the country. Thanks for any information!
